Mereeni Loop Road

The Mereeni Loop road is a kind of shortcut from Glen Helen to King's Canyon for four wheel drive cars. It was an old uranium mining access road and is now aboriginal territory, which means that we needed a permit to use the road. The road was almost impassable due to the heavy rains, and we heard later that it had been closed on the next day
