King's Canyon (Watarrka) is one of the better known tourist destinations in the red centre of Australia. Paved roads leads from Uluru and from Alice Springs to King's Canyon, and there is at least one hotel (resort) and one campground. We came through the back road, the unpaved Mereeni loop road
