Dunn's Swamp is a pocket of Wollemi National Park near Rylstone. It is not on the top spot list for Australia, but it makes a nice stopover on the way from the blue mountains to Coonabarabran and the Warrumbungle National Park. There is a very basic, unstaffed camp site in the park and it is a popular weekend spot for Australians from the region. The "swamp" is an artificial lake that was created by a nearby weir in a river. Australians go there for canoeing, swimming, fishing and a bit of easy hiking. A pleasant place
