Mokuti lodge is right outside the Etosha national part; from the lodge entrance, you can see Von Lindequist Gate of the park. The lodge is a fairly big affair with probably more than 200 rooms spread across a wide area around a central area that has restaurants, bars, pool etc.. Immediately outside our rooms were burrows of tree squirrels, or at least it was full of squirrels, and the first action of the day was to photograph squirrels (and photographers photographing squirrels). There were also a few springbok on the premises, and a reptile garden, but that was pretty empty. A few short hiking trails led across the countryside.
