Gozo

Gozo, the second largest island of Malta, has about a quarter of the size of Malta island, and about a tenth of the population, which makes it one of the more rural regions of the country. On an absolute scale, it is still densely populated.
Gozo is reached from Malta via a car ferry that runs regularly between the two islands. There are also daily ferries from Valletta but they do not really save any time.
Gozo is a popular holiday destination as well, it is a lot more tranquil than Malta and has nice bays and picturesque harbours. It also is said to have the superior scuba diving
